I build data pipelines. Twenty years of it - change data capture, Kafka, Debezium, the infrastructure that makes real-time data work in production. Currently software architect at IFS. I live in Málaga, Spain with my wife and two kids.
In 2024 I started using Claude and Cursor on real production work. They made me faster. What didn't change is knowing when the architecture is wrong, or when the output looks right but isn't. That judgment is what this site is about.
